Dan Cobb and James Cullen have been making music together since their teenage years, and since 2015 they have been crafting their sound as TENDER. In the vein of Caribou, Jungle or Oh Wonder, their songs are characterized by hypnotic yet delicate synthesizer work and Cullen’s syrupy vocals. The band has accrued a loyal following online with +1million plays on their Soundcloud, 500,000 monthly Spotify listeners worldwide, and were just named one of VEVO’s 2017 “Ones To Watch.”
The brilliant instrumentation and crooning vocals illuminated on this 5-track EP set the stage for their full length due out Spring 2017 on Partisan. Tonight they will play a sold-out release show at London’s Electrowerkz and next week kick off a November European run supporting two Mutual Benefit shows and then Cigarettes After Sex.
